So we moved the dose into powder.
The useful amount of many ingredients is simply too bulky for a neat little capsule. Powder lets us give you the real serving, without asking you to swallow a handful every day.
Same idea. Better format.
We moved bulky, science-led doses into powder because the amounts worth taking do not always fit neatly into capsules.
The science is in grams, not token doses.
Some ingredients are not micro-dose ingredients. Plant sterols sit in the 1.5-3g daily range in cholesterol guidance, and magnesium glycinate becomes bulky once you work back from elemental magnesium.
High-street capsules make the dose fit the shell.
That is the problem with capsule-first thinking. The serving has to look neat on the front of the pack, so the formula is often squeezed, blended, or dressed up as a big-sounding number.
Five capsules is where powder starts making sense.
A size 00 capsule holds about 0.95ml. With many dense supplement powders filling around 0.4-0.5g per capsule, a 2.1g magnesium glycinate serving is about five capsules before you have taken anything else.
2.1g magnesium glycinate divided by roughly 0.4-0.5g per capsule is about 5 capsules. We would rather give you the dose plainly, as powder.
Real scoop counts, not guesswork.
Checked 22 Jun 2026Take 3 level scoops daily, mixed into food or water, preferably in the morning or early afternoon.
Rhodiola Rosea · 1,500mg extract per serving · 45mg salidrosides
Rhodiola, Lion's Mane
Milk Thistle, Lungwort, Griffonia, Silica
Zinc, Valerian, Slippery Elm, Spirulina, Chlorella
The point of powder is not pretending every product is identical. The format lets each ingredient use the serving it actually needs.
One format for full servings.
Powder lets the dose breathe. A full serving can be one scoop, two scoops, or three scoops depending on the ingredient. That is the point.
We do not need every product to pretend it is the same size. If Rhodiola needs three level scoops, the routine should say that clearly. If Zinc needs one, it should say that too.
The point is simple: the ingredient decides the serving, not the capsule shell.
Built around the serving.
Different ingredients need different serving sizes. Powder lets that be clear instead of hidden inside a handful of capsules.
Rhodiola Rosea
3 level scoops · 1,500mg extract per serving
Milk Thistle
2 level scoops · 800mg silymarin
Griffonia 5-HTP
2 level scoops · evening routine
Zinc Gluconate
1 level scoop · 25mg elemental zinc
Clean, not complicated.
Does powder mean every product is one scoop?
No. The scoop count depends on the ingredient and serving size. The current powder directions include one-scoop, two-scoop and three-scoop products.
Why not just make bigger capsules?
Capsules still have a physical limit, and bigger capsules are harder to swallow. Once a serving gets bulky, powder is the cleaner format.
Is powder less convenient?
It is a different routine, but it is more flexible. You can mix it into water, juice, smoothies or food, and the serving can match the ingredient properly.
Are you saying capsules are always bad?
No. Capsules can still make sense for some strong, bitter or low-volume ingredients. For bulky formulas, powder is simply the more honest format.
Where the numbers come from.
The capsule maths is an estimate because powder density changes by ingredient, but the direction is clear: gram-level servings quickly become a handful of capsules.
- Heart UK and British Dietetic Association: plant sterols/stanols are typically discussed around 1.5-3g per day for cholesterol support.
